ATR 72
A twin engined turboprop short haul aircraft built by ATR of France, with a seating capacity of around 72. This aircraft was developed from the ATR 42, having been stretched, strengthened, and fitted with more powerful engines.
ATR 72-200This was the first production version, introduced in 1989 ATR 72-210The 210 had more powerful engines with 6 bladed propellers giving better performance in high air temperatures and high altitudes. ATR 72-500The 500 had a number of improvements including a redesigned interior and more powerful engines. |
