Charleroi Airport, otherwise known as Brussels South Airport, is located 46 Km South of Brussels, the capital city in central Belgium

Terminal 1 was opened at Charleroi airport at the end of January 2008 (on the north east side of the airport.) The smaller Terminal 2 opened in early 2017.

To and From the Airport


The bus service between the airport and Charlerio South train station costs approximnately 3 Euros.

A “bulk-Charleroi airport” combined train and bus ticket is available which covers the A line bus between Charleroi South station and the airport, plus the train journey anywhere in Belgium.

A shuttle bus also connects Charleroi airport with Brussels Midi Railway Station and Lille railway station for a fare of approximately 15 Euros.
