Varna Airport, otherwise known as Airport, is located 8Km North West of Varna, on the Black Sea coast, western Bulgaria
Varna airport opened a new passenger terminal in 2013, Terminal 2. There are now 3 terminals including Terminal 1 which closed (except for a VIP area). Terminal 3 opened in 2007
To and From the Airport
There is a regular bus service most of the day from the airport to Varna city and local resorts for around 3 Lev ( approximately 1.50 Pounds). The bus has separate pick-up and drop-off stops. The former being outside the VIP hall, the latter outside Terminal 1. Further bus routes run between Varna City and local resorts.
A taxi into Varna should cost around 20 Lev (approximately 9 Pounds) for the 15 minute journey.
Terminal Facilities
Facilities include duty free shops in terminals 2, and 3 coffee bars and money changing facilities in terminals 2 and 3, and FREE WiFi Internet access in terminal 2 .
