Venice Airport, otherwise known as Marco Polo Airport, is located 7Km North of Venice (across the lagoon), with the Italian Dolomite mountains 100km to the north.
To and From the Airport
There are bus services to Venice and to the local railway station.
Water Bus services are available approximately 200m from the airport terminal (via a covered walkway) priced at around 15 Euros.
During the ski season, shuttle buses may be available to resorts.
Helicopter trips are available.
A taxi from the airport into Venice is likely to cost around 40 Euros.
Private water taxi are available but can be expensive.
