Girona (Gerona) Airport, otherwise known as Costa Brava Airport, is located 10Km South West of Gerona and 90Km north of Barcelona, on the Costa Brava.

There is good access to the A7-E15 motorway to travel North to the Pyrenees and France, South towards Barcelona, or to the Costa Brava.

To and From the Airport

There are buses to Gerona (where there is a train station), Barcelona (journey time 1 hr 10minutes), Costa Brava North (Figueres, Empuriabrava and Roses) and Costa Brava South (Lloret de Mar, Blanes, Malgrat de Mar, Santa Susanna, Pineda de Mar, Calella de la Costa and Tossa de Mar.
The bus to Barcelona runs several times during the day and evening and costs approximately 15 Euros one way. Occasional buses also run to locations on the Costa Brava, and to Andorra (a cost of 32 Euros for the 3 hr 15min journey).

Trains are available from Girona city.
