Granada Airport, otherwise known as Federico García Lorca Granada-Jaen Airport, is located 15 km west of the historic city of Granada, well known for the Moorish Alhambra Palace, and 100 km south of Jaén, in Andalucia.
The airport is adjacent to the A92 motorway giving good access east to Granada, the Alhambra and the Sierra Nevada, north to Jaen, South to the Alpujarras and the Costa Tropical, or west towards Antequera.
To and From the Airport
There is a bus service to and from Granada every 1 or 2 hours costing around 3 Euros.
Taxi to Granada costs approximately 25 Euros and you can get to the Alhambra for 30 Euros,or the Sierra Nevada for 85 Euros.
