Gran Canaria Airport, otherwise known as Las Palmas Airport, is located 18Km South of Las Palmas, on the island of Gran Canaria, in the Canary Islands.
Gran Canaria airport has terminals which has been expanded and now has 4 areas, A, B, Cand D. Zone A, used for domestic flights, Zonees B and C, used for European flights, and Zone D for other International flights.
Building work to extend the terminal buildings has recently taken involved extension works (doubling it’s size) together with changes to car parking and improved access roads.
The airport is adjacent to the GC-1 motorway and is 25Km from the resorts on the south of the island.
To and From the Airport
Bus hourly to Mespalomas for 4 Euros, every 20 minutes to Las Palmas for 2.50 Euros.
Taxi to Las Palmas approx 35 Euros, Playa del Ingles approx 40 Euros, Maspalomas approx 40 Euros.
