Santiago de Compostela Airport, otherwise known as Airport, is located 17Km East of Santiago de Compostela, in the region of Galicia, north west Spain.
The airport has good access to the N636 and N547 and with a motorway direct to the city of Santiago de Compostela, considered by some to be the most attractive in Spain and long-time pilgrim destination.
A new Terminal building opened at the airport in October 2011, situated south of the original building. Together with other infrastructure improvements, the new terminal is designed to handle 4 million passengers per year.
To and From tnhe Airport
There is a bus service into Santigo every 30 minutes during the day (3 Euros for the 35 minute journey) and a limited bus service to La Coruna (2 per day).
